In all it’s splender this is what she said ‘Summer agrees with you but we’re running out of thread. So consider this our pension from the dramatics. This way we can rid ourselves of tension, this way we won’t lose our heads. Maybe we could just think of it as reasoning with trouble and remember to forget those moments which apparently we can’t seem to shake nor stop remembering’ - And in all its splender this is what I heard ‘You’re running out of options please don’t make this seem all too absurd’ So to consider this our pension from the dramatics would be like embracing a defeat while keeping heads we lose our hearts All the more reason to Think of it as reasoning with trouble I won’t remember to forget those moments abandoning our heads and thus gaining us ours hearts

There, on a mountain top in the midnight sun with you And here, in an open field in the pouring rain with you We belong together barefoot and at peace we'll roam the earth forever And here, in the morning fog in the midst of clouds you will sleep Then wake by the sound of bells in the midnight sun with me We belong together barefoot and at peace we'll roam the earth forever never growing old and never growing tired we remain united nature in our hearts everything is everything is love
9.
All alone, Surrounded by the faults of my past Don’t know <how> long I will/can last Tell me; where do I go from here? I am lost The weight of all my options’ too grand I don’t know were to land Tell me; where do I go from here? (but) There you are, smiling softly Lifting my troubles, taking my hand your love will take me through Suddenly I’m not traveling alone anymore We have places to go, things to do Where do we go from here There you are, breathing calmly Telling me softly, darlin’, there is nothing standing in our way Now I see Together we are making our way we’re wandering ’til the break of day where shall we go from here Flying high We’re passing stations, splendidly lost life is our destination that is where we’ll go from here Here we are, you’re holding me firmly Telling me softly, darlin’, there is nothing standing in our way
10.
You believe everything is meant to be that we all have a destiny that it’s written in the stars You said to me; “everyone needs a lucky charm” superstitious like a man at sea and at the mercy of your fate All my life I have love unconditionally and only a broken heart is capable of such love Again and again I gave my heart away to somebody new and finally I met you You believe everything is meant to be But I do not believe in destiny I believe in love…

about

Jazzbanditt & Eva Scholten is an acoustic quartet based in Oslo and Amsterdam. The group consists of vocals, two acoustic guitars (dreadnought/nylon/selmer ++) and a double bass.
Together they have chosen to combine music that belongs on the standard end of the scale with their own more free and lyrical compositions. This duality in their musical expression made it so that their first album would be a two part album, and it was given the fitting name "Oxymorons & Contranypmhs". This album is soothing for the ear, challenging for the head and necessary for the heart.
